Misty the Bicycle

"Well", thought Misty, as she sat, motionless, on top of her new rubber tyres. "I always said I wanted a new bike, but this isn't quite what I had in mind!"

The former Cerluean gym leader had no idea what had happened. All she knew was that her formerly-human body had been replaced by a light, aluminium frame, and that she was currently taking pride of place in the windowframe of the cycle shop. And it seemed like she'd be stuck there until someone came along who could afford her ludicrous price-tag, seeing as she had as much power to move herself as a fire-type move had had in her old gym. What was she supposed to do? She could only move with a rider sat on her new seat, pumping her whirling pedals, but she had no way of controlling her path, or telling her owner that their brand-new bicycle used to be a human being. All she could do was wait and worry about rust - how ironic that a water-type trainer could become so afraid of getting wet! - and hope that her new owner didn't run her into any crazy Pikachus...
